And the winner is...Benny!

One look at this beach boy and I think you'll understand why I had to choose Benny for our May Cover Dog. His smile makes me smile. That white, fluffy fur makes me want to bury my face in his neck, not to mention the adorable cock of his left hind leg. His person says:

“Benny was the chunkiest of his litter and the last to have a forever home. He and I share a birthday and I think it was meant to be for him to be ours!

Benny has never met a person he hasn’t liked. He loves to be close to people and doesn’t know what personal space is. I’m sure he thinks of himself as a small lapdog.

Benny is full of life and energy and can be the craziest dog at times, but can also be calm and cuddle forever!

He can run faster than any other dog I’ve seen and hops like a gazelle, with no preparation he can hop right over a baby gate.

Benny loves to sleep on his back, in the middle of our bed and in the mornings he army-crawls his way up to the pillows and either lays across my head or licks our face until we wake up! “
